Space, Stability and Freedom on the Water
Picture waking up at anchor in a quiet bay, coffee in hand, the water already turquoise beneath you. Your family or friends are spread across a wide deck, someone is jumping off the back for a first swim, and the day has no schedule. That is what a catamaran charter feels like: more room, a calmer ride and a trip built around the people you bring. With two hulls instead of one, a catamaran sits flatter on the water and gives you living space that most boats of the same length can’t match.
More Space
A wide salon that opens onto the deck, a full galley and cabins in separate hulls.
A Steadier Ride
A wide platform heels much less than a single-hull boat, under sail and at anchor.
Shallow Draft
Anchor close to beaches and in bays where deeper boats stay away.
Families & Groups
Everyone shares the day and still has their own space.
The Favourite Choice of Families and Friends
It is the favourite choice of families, groups of friends and anyone who wants comfort as much as adventure.
A Home on the Water
Step on board and you notice the space first. The wide salon opens onto the deck, so meals, conversations and card games flow from inside to outside. A full galley lets the crew or your group prepare lunch while you anchor. Cabins sit in separate hulls, usually with their own bathrooms, so everyone has a quiet place to retreat to after a day in the sun.
On deck, there is room for everything: a shaded table for long lunches, sun pads for the afternoon, and often a trampoline at the front, which is the best place on board at sunset. Many catamarans carry paddleboards and snorkelling gear, so a swim or a first snorkel is always one step away.
A Steadier, Calmer Ride
Because of its wide platform, a catamaran heels much less than a single-hull boat, both under sail and at anchor. Glasses stay on the table, children move around more easily, and guests who have never sailed feel at home quickly. The sea still moves, and your captain chooses routes and anchorages to match the weather, but the experience is noticeably more relaxed.
Bays Other Boats Can’t Reach
A catamaran has a shallow draft, so it can anchor close to beaches and in bays where deeper boats stay away. You spend less time in busy harbours and more time swimming in clear water, exploring small islands and eating lunch where the only neighbours are other sailors. For island hopping, it is hard to beat.

Share the Day, Keep Your Space
A catamaran lets everyone share the day and still have their own space. Parents can relax on the deck while children swim from the platform. Friends can split between the sun pads, the table and the bow. Whether you celebrate a birthday, a reunion or a long-awaited holiday, the layout keeps the group together without crowding anyone.
With a Crew, or Sailing Yourself
Most guests choose a catamaran with a professional captain and crew, so there is no need for licences or sailing experience. They handle navigation and safety, and you handle the holiday. See what to expect on a crewed charter. If you are an experienced sailor, you can also consider a bareboat charter and take the helm yourself.
Catamaran Charter FAQs
Useful answers before you request a quote.
Do I need sailing experience for a catamaran charter?
No, not with a captain and crew on board. You only need qualifications for a bareboat charter.
How many people can sleep on a catamaran?
It depends on the boat, from a few cabins on smaller models to larger layouts on bigger catamarans. Tell us your group size and we will suggest the right boat.
Is a catamaran good for children?
Yes, many families choose one for the space and the steady ride. The crew will explain the safety rules on board before departure.
What is included in the price?
This depends on the boat and the destination, for example the crew, fuel, meals, taxes and gratuity. We list the details of each yacht in your quote.
